The Track Record of An Academic and Researcher Is More Clearly Monitored

Alhamdulillah, in the last few days, I received two invitation notifications as TPC (Technical Program Committee), and Reviewers at IEEE indexed International Conferences and Scopus Indexed Journals and Web of Science. What’s interesting for me is usually only at Elsevier, but this time I can be trusted to be a reviewer at a reputable International Journal, Taylor & Francis Publisher.

To my surprise, this morning, I received a notification from the Web of Science (WoS), a reputable journal indexing agency, that they had recorded 19 Journal Papers of me as a Reviewer on the Web of Science. Of course, this number is slight, and I am still a beginner. The profile created by WoS is automatically based on our Track Record. It cannot be made like social media.

Actually, being a reviewer is only voluntary, but lately, there are many rewards in the form of discounted prices for publishing articles, some are free to disseminate, and even the Higher-Education provides tips in the form of high remuneration points, so it’s even more exciting to become a reviewer Reputable International Journal because there is money too. Alhamdulillah.

Come on, friends, don’t hesitate to do good. Even if you don’t get paid, it will be returned as a note of kindness. At least for an academic now, our track record is getting easier to monitor :).

The profiles made by Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE cannot be made up but are based on activities in the field of pure research, and of course, millions of eyes see our track record. As my supervisor used to motivate me,

“Today, if we as academics and talk nonsense, people will laugh, but people will believe it more if they see our high ‘metric’ as academics and researchers.”

Please pray to always be healthy and be able to contribute to goodness. Amen
