Objectives
- In this course, students will learn about the components of management information systems and how to leverage them in business (in education).
- Students understand the strategic role of information systems and information technology in organizations.
- Students learn various types of information systems at various levels of organizations.
- Overall, this course aims to teach students how to use and manage information systems to revitalize business processes (in education), improve business decision-making, and gain a competitive advantage.
Forms of Teaching
- Student-Centered Learning (SCL). SCL focuses on the students learning and what students do to achieve this, rather than what the lecturer does.
- Guide students to be active in learning activities.
- Discuss recent scientific articles regarding the topic.
- Give frequent assignments, quizzes, and mini-research projects to evaluate students understanding of what has been presented in class and use that knowledge to understand more complex theories and applications better.

Forms of Evaluation
- There will be a take midterm (30%) and final exam i.e., mini project (40%)
- Assignments (20%), quizzes and to evaluating students understanding against what have been presented in class (10%).
